Core Values of Our Foundation

The Foundation embraces core values rooted in family history, which guide its thinking, actions, decisions, and priorities.

1. Selfless philanthropy. We honor Pinky and John McKetta’s
   commitment to generous support of diverse charitable organizations,
   with no direct or indirect benefit to themselves from their gifts.
2. Impact. We choose to give to charities (i) for whom our gift is significant, (ii) which devotes a very high percentage of its revenue directly to its charitable services, and (iii) which makes a difference to the community or constituency it has chosen to serve.
3. Engagement and collaboration. The Foundation’s selection process is intended to be inclusive of the diverse views and passions of family members.
